What this is

Highbury Bound is a worldwide directory of Arsenal-friendly pubs, bars, and supporters’ clubs. Every listing has a source URL and a last-verified date. Removals are documented publicly at /closed. Free for fans, free for venues, ad-free. Built by an Arsenal fan; not a company. Catalogue freshness over volume — we’d rather list a hundred verified pubs than a thousand stale entries.

Numbers render from the catalogue at request time — they’re always current as of when you load this page.

Methodology

How we source, verify, and remove venues is documented in detail at /methodology. The short version: address cross-checked against the venue’s own website plus at least one other public source, hours pulled from the venue’s own published times, photos only from Wikimedia / Flickr CC / venue social (never stock), removals logged publicly at /closed with the reason.

Open data

The full venue catalogue is available as CC-BY-SA-4.0 JSON at /api/v1/venues.json. You can use it commercially with attribution and share-alike. If you embed it, link back to highburybound.com so we can find the citation in our referrer logs.

What we share with reporters

Aggregate visitor counts, catalogue counts and verification dates, our tooling stack, the strategic principles behind the editorial floor, the reason a specific venue was removed. Quotes happily. Photos of verified pubs with proper attribution.

What we don’t share

Per-user behaviour or individual visit data. Sourcing leads on un-verified pubs (we vet before naming). The operator’s real-world identity — this is a pseudonymous fan project. Specific revenue numbers if monetisation is ever introduced. Communications from venue owners (private unless they signal consent).

Brand assets

The Highbury Bound wordmark is two-line stacked (HIGHBURY in ink, BOUND in red). The mark is the wordmark — there’s no separate logo or icon. The brand uses #E63329 for red, not Arsenal’s Pantone 186 C. Big Shoulders Display for headlines; Inter for body; JetBrains Mono for eyebrow tags.
